| Lyle Williams was born and raised deep in the heart of South Texas, in a county which has proclaimed itself to be the Greatest County Fair in the State, Nueces County. As a youngster, Lyle exuded a love for showing animals. He had great success exhibiting County Division Champions and class winners at the Texas majors, all with American breed cattle, which are native to South Texas. Lyle owes much of his success to Joe and Linlea Shelby, who provided him with a great deal of guidance for his cattle projects. Lyle also was highly active in the 4-H. He served as County 4-H President and a district 4-H officer. During this time he received many 4-H awards. While attending college, Lyle became even more involved in the show cattle business. Lyle gained much experience while working for numerous families as well as assisting Kent Herzog with his show cattle business. Lyle helped many 4H-ers achieve championships at all levels, including:

Julie grew up in a small town just outside Houston. Throughout high school, Julie exhibited lambs as well as participating with honors on her FFA chapter's Judging Team. Every weekend she exhibited her lambs across the vast state of Texas on the TCLA circuit. In doing this, Julie received many awards in Class and for Showmanship, including Top Ten in TCLA. Julie also earned a scholarship from her 4-H chapter and 2 proficiency awards for sheep development through FFA. Julie used her scholarship to attend The Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service.She graduated with a degree in Science and is qualified to handle all aspects of a funeral and perform embalming.Julie is also a certified X-ray Technican with extensive Dental Assisting experience. Since relocating to Walker County in the spring of 2007, Julie oversees all business aspects of Williams Show Cattle. In doing this, it allows Lyle to concentrate on assisting all of their clients in the selection, feeding & fitting of their cattle from Williams Show Cattle. Kendyll is Lyle and Julie’s daughter, their growing bundle of inspiration. Kendyll is no stranger to livestock shows throughout the state. Attending her 1st at only 2 weeks old! She is thrilled to finally start her own show career and hopes to exhibit many champions over the coming years. Kendyll believes that knowing your animal plays a key roll in showring sucsess. Williams Show Cattle is a very hands-on organization that spends countless time and energy with their clients. Whether it is traveling the country looking for your next great one, going to your shows, or offering guidance through hoof trimming, clipping or visual appraisal, Williams Show Cattle is committed to helping you with all aspects of your show experience. |
